Why Blue Horizon
We built Blue Horizon on three pillars. Here's how they show up in your driveway every week.

Consistency builds trust. You'll know who's caring for your pool — and they'll know your pool inside out.
You see what we did, when we did it, and what your chemistry looked like. Transparency you don't get from most pool guys.
We earn your business every month. If we ever drop the ball, you walk — that's our integrity standard.
Local owners accountable to local neighbors. Certified Pool & Spa Operator — your pool is in trusted hands, not a faceless route truck.
All standard chemicals are included in every plan. No long-term contracts.
Chemical-Only Service
Perfect chemistry, every visit — without the full cleaning.
Weekly in swim season · Every other week off-season
Chemical + Basket Service
Balanced chemistry plus clean baskets — the most popular choice.
Weekly visits
Full-Service Cleaning
We handle everything — your pool is ready to use after every visit.
Weekly visits
A handful of specialty services we'll handle when your pool calls for them. We'll let you know what's needed — and what it'll cost — before we touch a thing.
Added as needed when algae blooms threaten your pool. We test first, dose only what's required. (As needed)
Removes the algae food source so chlorine works harder. Recommended once a year in spring. (Once per year (spring))
Deep-clean of your cartridge or DE filter so it runs efficiently and your chemistry holds. (Recommended every 6 months)
For saltwater pools — descales the cell so your chlorinator keeps producing properly. (As needed)
Who we serve
Serving
We treat your backyard like our own. Trusted techs every visit, photo report after every service, and no long-term contracts. Just clear water and zero hassle.
Serving
Spas concentrate everything pools spread out — chemistry, bather load, and minerals. We balance them carefully so they're always ready when you are.
Serving
Detailed visit logs, chemistry records on file, and a single point of contact who answers the phone. We're built for property managers and HOA boards who need accountability, not surprises.
Serving
High bather load needs high-frequency service. We tune cadence and chemistry to your building's traffic so the pool is always clean, balanced, and code-compliant.
Serving
Hotel pools live on Instagram. We keep yours photo-ready with rigorous chemistry, sparkling surfaces, and discreet service that never disrupts your guests.
Serving
Lap pools and recovery pools push chemistry to its limits. Our service holds the line on chlorine, pH, and clarity so your members keep showing up.
Serving
Whether you're hosting a single swim meet or a full summer league, we'll prep the pool, balance chemistry on race day, and keep the deck looking sharp.

"You can tell the tech actually understands pool chemistry — not just dropping tablets in and walking. CPO-certified, and it shows. We had a phosphate issue early on; they explained the test results, treated it once, and we haven't had an algae bloom since. Communication is great — they always reach out before adjusting anything."

"We have a pool and an attached spa, both serviced weekly. What sold me was the consultation up front — they walked through what our older Pentair system needed and never tried to upsell. Photo reports after every visit and the price is exactly what they quoted on the call. Easy recommendation for anyone in Danville or Blackhawk."

"Switched to Blue Horizon last spring after cycling through a couple of route-truck services in Walnut Creek. The difference is night and day — friendly tech every Tuesday, the photo report shows up by lunchtime, and our chemistry has been spot-on through the entire swim season. Calling them was the easiest yes we've made on the house."

"Pricing was a touch above what I'd originally budgeted, but the service quality more than makes up for it. The tech is professional, the photo reports are detailed, and they spotted a small leak in our return line on the second visit and pointed it out at no charge. Glad we made the switch — would refer to anyone in Concord or Pleasant Hill."

Walnut Creek
Backyard pool sat under oak trees through fall. One deep clean plus a chemistry reset and it was back to weekly-service-ready.

Danville
Pool sat unused over winter. Filter clean, fresh fill, and a balanced chemistry reset had it warm and ready by the weekend.

Algae bloom after a hot stretch with the pump offline. Shock treatment, brushing, and a follow-up visit cleared it within 72 hours.

Don't see your city? Send us a message — we expand our route every month.
Weekly during swim season (roughly April–October) is our standard for all paid plans. Our Chemical-Only plan continues weekly visits in the swim months and switches to every other week off-season — that's why it's a year-round subscription instead of 48 weeks.
Yes. All standard chemicals are included in every monthly plan — chlorine, pH adjusters, alkalinity buffers, calcium hardness, conditioner. We bring our own poles, nets, vacuums, and brushes. The only specialty add-ons billed separately are algaecide ($1.75/oz), the annual phosphate treatment ($35), filter cleaning ($150), and salt cell cleaning.
No problem at all. We work entirely outside — gate access is all we need. We'll send you the same photo report we normally would, so you can check on your pool from wherever you are.
Both. Salt pools still need chemistry monitoring — pH, alkalinity, stabilizer — and the salt cell itself needs descaling roughly every 3–6 months. We handle that as a paid add-on. Chlorine pools are our bread and butter and get the same care.
Yes — green pool recovery is one of our specialties. Most pools come back to swimmable in 5–10 days depending on severity. We'll quote the recovery separately from regular service (chemicals + extra labor for the cleanup), then transition you onto a weekly plan once the pool is balanced.
Never. Service is month-to-month. If we ever drop the ball, you walk — that's our integrity standard, and it's the reason our customers stay with us for years.
It means we don't nickel-and-dime you. Chlorine, pH adjusters (acid or soda ash), alkalinity buffer, calcium hardness, and stabilizer are all bundled into your monthly fee — at whatever doses your pool actually needs. The only chemicals billed separately are specialty treatments like algaecide or the annual phosphate dose, because those depend on your specific pool's situation.
Yes. We have dedicated commercial service tiers for HOAs, property management companies, apartments, hotels, and gym pools. Service frequency and reporting are tuned to your building's bather load and your board's accountability needs. Reach out via the quote form below and we'll put together a proposal.
Yes — Blue Horizon is **CPO Certified** (Certified Pool & Spa Operator). The CPO certification is the pool industry's most widely recognized credential, covering water chemistry, sanitation, equipment, safety, and code compliance. It means the tech caring for your pool is trained to the same standard used by public aquatic facilities and commercial operators — applied to your backyard every week.
